1A mail box was damaged in the 8600 block of North Pelham Parkway with a smashed pumpkin found at the scene and two holes were reported in a mailbox in the 8900 block of North Greenvale Road Nov. 21 or 22. The amount of damage was not listed.


2Six cartons of cigarettes and one of Swisher Sweet Cigars valued at $515 were taken from the Shop on Sherman, 7979 N. Sherman Blvd., Oct. 31 or Nov. 1. A window was broken to gain entry causing $220 damage.

3A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for negligent handling of burning material after setting his hall pass on fire in a bathroom at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 2. He admitted the incident and was turned over to a parent.

4A muffler was taken from a car in the 6500 block of West Brown Deer Road on Nov. 7 or 8. Damage was $1,500.

5A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for second degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct after reports of him touching girls inappropriately and making explicit sexual remarks at Brown Deer High School, 8060 N. 60th St., at noon Nov. 8. The assaults were discovered during a class when inappropriate and unwanted touching were being discussed and at least three girls reported this boy's actions.

6A snowblower valued at $500 was taken from a shed in the 8000 block of North Grandview Drive on Nov. 9, 10 or 11. There was sign of forced entry.

7A 19-year-old Brown Deer woman was cited on a noise complaint after reports of her playing loud music in the 8200 block of North 46th Street at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 16. The woman, who had been warned previously Nov. 2 and 3, said the music wasn't that loud.

8A male juvenile was seen throwing rocks and breaking a windshield in the 4100 block of West Rivers Edge Circle at 4 p.m. Nov. 17. Damage was $250.

9A 26-year-old Brown Deer woman was arrested on a noise complaint after a 911 call reporting the woman yelling, screaming and stomping on the floor in an apartment in the 8300 block of North 46th Street at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 17. When police arrived, the woman was on the balcony and they could hear her yelling 100 yards away. She said she was on the phone arguing with relatives.

10A 23-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a noise complaint in the 8200 block of North 46th Street at 11 p.m. Nov. 18. When the man opened the door there was an overwhelming odor of burned marijuana and he admitted smoking the drug that afternoon adding there was none left. A glass pipe with residue was found by canine officer Vader.

An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for strangulation and battery, both domestic violence related, in a parking lot at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 22. The victim said the man grabbed her cellphone and threw it away and then hit her in the face and choked her saying "(Expletive) I'll choke you out." The man, the ex-boyfriend, said he was angry because she disrespected him.

A 22-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for damage to property and disorderly conduct, both domestic violence related, for breaking into her ex-boyfriend's residence by damaging a door frame and lock and then attacking him and a woman about 7 a.m. Nov. 23. Damage to the door was $200. The woman said the man had broken into her Milwaukee residence and took her cellphone.

11An 18-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft from his employer, Pick 'n Save, 9200 N. Green Bay Road, at 9:50 a.m. Nov. 13. The man admitted "discounting purchases" made by another man who most often purchased corn beef saying that man was "a very good cook" and fed the employee. The theft happened over a few weeks and loss to the store was about $70.

Two additional domestic incidents were reported Nov. 12 and 17.

12A 27-year-old woman, residence not listed, was arrested for trespassing and theft from Children's Place, 5664 N. Bayshore Drive, at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 17. Clothing from that store valued at $86 along with a bag full of costume jewelry from Charlotte Russe and other items from Express and Victoria's Secret, value not available, were found in a car the woman had entered. She denied stealing saying she "doesn't do that anymore" adding that an employee handed her a bag filled with the items. The suspect is on parole for endangering safety with a dangerous weapon and has six prior theft arrests.

13Two 16-year-old girls, residences not listed, were arrested for theft and one also for theft with a shielding device and a 17-year-old girl, residence not listed, for theft, receiving stolen property and driving while suspended after taking items valued at $459 and driving away from Erehwon, 599 W. Glen Bay Ave., at 6 p.m. Nov. 17. The girls all admitted the thefts one adding that "everyone did it." The older girl was driving a car with a stolen license plate.

14A 26-year-old man, residence not listed, was arrested for theft of items valued at more than $500 from The Apple Store, 5715 N. Centerpark Way, at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 17. The man admitted taking iPad covers and various adapters because times were tough and he intended to sell them.

15A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, with a prior conviction, driving after revocation and open intoxicants after he was seen weaving in traffic on Interstate 43 and stopped in the 600 block of West Good Hope Road at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 18. An empty bottle of vodka and empty cans of beer were found in the car. He vomited at the police department and would not take field sobriety tests. His BAC was 0.14.

A 75-year-old Glendale man was arrested and charged with battery, disorderly conduct, crime against an elderly person all domestic violence related after hitting his wife and threatening to shoot her at their home at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 18. The victim called police from a relative's home saying she was very frightened to report the incident but that her husband had become more abusive over the last few months. Police found the man at home where he denied hitting his wife saying he only pushed her. He also said police were lucky he didn't know they were coming because he would have "loaded up" and it would have been "a bloodbath." The victim had police confiscate four handguns and two shotguns along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition found in the basement.

16A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was to be mailed a citation for possession of marijuana at Probation and Parole, 4160 N. Port Washington Road, at 4 p.m. Nov. 19. The man arrived to be taken into custody and when searched 5.3 grams of marijuana was found in his coat. When it was found he said he wished he had worn a different coat.

17A woman came to the police department to report the theft of four credit cards from her purse while she was at Bar Louie, 5750 N. Bayshore Drive, some time 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 20. Two cards had been used charging more than $8,700 at four stores including Bayshore's Apple Store and Best Buy and CVS Pharmacy in Fox Point.

18A 25-year-old North Carolina man was arrested for drunken driving after a 911 call reporting a car being driven with two flat tires in the 500 block of West Silver Spring Drive at 9 a.m. Nov. 22. The man was taken for a blood draw.

19A .22-caliber rifle valued at $1,600 was taken from the bed of a truck parked in a driveway in the 5500 block of North Dexter Avenue on Nov. 21 or 22 and reported Nov. 24.


20A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, driving while suspended, refusal to take a breath test and speeding 73 mph in a 45 mph zone in the 2500 block of West Brown Deer Road at 12:40 a.m. Nov. 15. He failed field sobriety tests.

21A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, suspended registration, driving after revocation and speeding 56 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 1300 block of West Good Hope Road at 12:15 a.m. Nov. 18. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken for a blood draw.


22A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested Nov. 16 for a warrant after coming to the police department to possibly reclaim a bike he was seen riding Nov. 2. That bike was confiscated until its ownership could be proven. On Nov. 3, police were notified the bike, a Trek, valued at $600, had been taken from the 4200 block of North Lake Drive.

23Items valued at more than $2,000 including two laptop computers, a cellphone, purse and contents were taken from a residence in the 2500 block of East Lake Bluff Boulevard on Nov. 16 or 17. Entry was made through unlocked patio doors.

24Two windows were broken and a screen damaged in the 4200 block of North Lake Drive between midnight and 1 a.m. Nov. 17. Four Rolling Rock beer bottles were found at the scene. Damage was $350.

25A 26-year-old Random Lake woman was arrested for theft of items valued at $20 including a can of brake fluid from her employer Lakeshore Mobile, 2521 E. Capitol Drive, about 1 p.m. Nov. 17.

26A bicycle valued at $300 was reported taken from a bike rack at Shorewood High School, 1701 E. Capitol Drive, on Nov. 17. A cable lock was cut causing $20 damage.

27A hit and run to a parked car was reported in the 4000 block of North Downer Avenue sometime Nov. 17. Damage to the front of the car including a headlight was about $1,300.

28A 55-year-old Shorewood woman was arrested for drunken driving and running a red light in the 4000 block of North Lake Drive at 1:48 a.m. Nov. 18. The woman, who failed field sobriety tests, had a BAC of 0.07.

29Fraudulent prescriptions written on pads stolen from the same doctor's office were reported at Thompson's Serv-U Pharmacy, 1421 E. Capitol Drive, on Nov. 19.

30A 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was arrested for attempted robbery after he and another male juvenile attempted to rob two people sitting in a car in the 3800 block of North Oakland Avenue about 9:10 p.m. Nov. 21. The boys opened the car doors and demanded money and other items. The boys both ran but one was caught in the area.

31Three bicycles, value not listed, were taken from a backyard in the 4400 block of North Larkin Street between 7:30 and 9:15 p.m. Nov. 21.


32A 75-year-old Glendale woman was mailed a citation for hit and run after running into a parked car and leaving the scene in the 500 block of East Silver Spring Drive at 2 p.m. Nov. 20. A witness reported information and the woman was contacted.

33A 20-year-old Shorewood woman was mailed a citation for disorderly conduct after a relative came to the police department to report the woman had "caused a physical altercation" between them in the 5900 block of North Santa Monica Boulevard at 5 p.m. Nov. 20.

34A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without the owner's consent after he was found driving a car stolen from the 700 block of East Ch teau Place between 5 and 9 p.m. Nov. 21. The car was located by Franklin police with the steering column peeled at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 22. The man denied taking the car. A 20-year-old Milwaukee man, a passenger, was arrested for obstruction.

35A 56-year-old Whitefish Bay man was arrested for drunken driving, refusal to take a breath test and driving left of center after multiple calls regarding a possible intoxicated driver in the 200 block of East Hampton Road at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 22.

36Eight people were mailed citations for parking in a No Parking zone after a report of illegally parked cars and the removal of No Parking signs during Black Friday in the 5700 block of North Lydell Avenue at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 23. The owners of the cars ranged in age from 33 to 76 from Brown Deer, Fox Point, Glendale, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. The night before, at about 8:45 p.m. Nov. 22, police were called to the same location on reports of the signs being removed but at that time all signs seemed to be in place.

A resident reported her ID had been used to open an AT&T cellphone plan at 4:40 p.m. Nov. 23. She reported being the victim of ID theft a few years ago and thought the cases might be related.
