Shorewood presents 'Small Plates Week'

Shorewood — More than 20 Shorewood restaurants and food businesses will participate in Small Plates Week on April 22 through April 27.

Small Plates Week gives local establishments the opportunity to spotlight their chef's talent and creativity through original small plate concepts or to showcase existing items at a special price. The menu includes appetizers, small entrees and desserts ranging from $3 to $8, giving diners a chance to sample dishes at several different restaurants without breaking their family budget.

"Shorewood's Small Plate Week is a fun event designed to encourage locals and visitors to come to the neighborhood to sample restaurants they've always wanted to try," said Jim Plaisted, Executive Director of the Shorewood BID.

Some of the featured small plates include shrimp risotto from North Star Bistro, dual British bakery pasties from Three Lions Pub and mini dirt cake from Miss Cupcake.
