1Two rings were taken from the 9400 block of North Waverly Drive before Feb. 11.

2Graffiti was found on desks at TCF Bank, 500 W. Brown Deer Road on Feb. 16. In addition, small amounts of money have been missing over the past six months, and three weeks ago an Apple iTouch phone and a computer case were reported missing.

3Residents reported posting a house for rent on craigslist and Milwaukee Rental and received information on Feb. 16 that another posting was made for their house with greatly reduced rent from someone in South Africa who said he/she was there on missionary work and wanted to rent their home. A similar incident was reported by another resident Jan. 23.


4A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for obstruction after giving a false name, operating after revocation and having seven warrants for his arrest in the 5000 block of West Brown Deer Road at 2 p.m. Feb. 12. He had six warrants for operating after revocation and one for burglary.

• A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for physical abuse of a child, a 17-year-old Milwaukee girl who he knows on Feb. 12 and reported Feb. 13. The man slapped the girl and choked her until she almost passed out causing damage to her throat. The girl said she didn't report the incident until the following day because she wanted to get her hair done. She also said the man had hit her before.

5A resident reported that his mother, 46, of West Allis, had "borrowed" his car from the 8000 block of North 51st Street on Feb. 7 and had not returned it as of Feb. 13. In December of last year, he reported a similar incident when his mother took his car and didn't return it for days. He alleged she drove into Milwaukee to buy drugs.

6A 52-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found slumped over the wheel of his car near Pick 'n Save in the 9200 block of North Green Bay Road at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 13. He said he worked third shift and was tired. An open beer was found in the car. His blood-alcohol content was 0.123

7A 26-year-old Brown Deer man was arrested for drunken driving and failure to yield after he almost caused an accident in the 4700 block of West Bradley Road at 2 a.m. Feb. 14. The man admitted having two beers but said he wasn't drunk because he was the designated driver. His BAC was 0.14.

8A 41-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction for giving a false name and theft of a pair of $62 shoes at Kohl's, 9060 N. Green Bay Road, at 1 p.m. Feb. 17. The man had hidden the shoes in his jacket where two pipes where also found which he admitted he used to smoke heroin.

9Two residents reported thefts from their storage lockers over the past few weeks at Fox Croft Apartments, 8620 N. Port Washington Road, on Feb. 12 and 17. A 20-inch TV valued at $300 was taken from one locker and two children's bicycles valued at $150 from the other.


10A $300 snow blower was taken and a 1/4 full bottle of scotch left behind in a garage in the 5600 block of North Braeburn Avenue between Feb. 4 to Feb. 7 and reported Feb. 15.

11A 35-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant at LaQuinta Inn, 5485 N. Port Washington Road, at 1 a.m. Feb. 11. Two pipes with crack cocaine residue were found in the woman's boots and copper pads and a bag with residue was found next to the bed. The woman said the drugs belonged to "George" who had left.

12A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking nine video games valued at $258 from Kohl's, 5650 N. Bayshore Drive, about 5 p.m. Feb. 11. He also had a Global Positioning System unit that the store believed was taken from another Kohl's. The man admitted taking the games but said he had purchased the GPS. He was told not to return to Kohl's or he would be cited for trespassing.

13An anonymous "toxin threat" was called in to Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, the evening of Feb. 11. A similar threat had been called in to Milwaukee's MATC. North Shore Fire Department helped with the investigation and no toxins were found and the campus was cleared at 11 p.m.

14Four commercial-size air conditioning units valued at more than $4,000 were taken from an office building at 6025 N. Green Bay Ave., on Feb. 11 or 12. An employee arrived at work and found there was no electricity. It was then discovered that wiring had been cut outside and the units taken.

15A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and operating while suspended after being stopped for no plates in the 5100 block of North Port Washington Road at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 12. The man denied drinking but did admit to smoking "lots of weed." He refused to take the blood-alcohol content test.

16A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon - two knives - and theft at Sears, 5900 N. Port Washington Road, at 5 p.m. Feb. 12. The woman took video games valued at more than $200 and exited the store. When she saw security, she put the items into an unlocked car and walked away. The woman, who denied the theft, is an employee at another retail store.

17A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on a felony robbery warrant and a 36-year-old Milwaukee woman for disorderly conduct at La Quinta Inn, 5423 N. Port Washington Road, at 3 a.m. Feb. 15. After the man's arrest, the woman entered the lobby and kicked over flower pots and threw items threatening to cause more harm. Three children were sleeping in the couple's room.

18A 46-year-old Glendale man was arrested for drunken driving at a residence in the 6100 block of North Green Bay Avenue at 9 a.m. Feb. 15. The man had keys to that home because he worked there as a care giver. The resident asked police to get his keys back.


19Three Milwaukee men, 25, 26 and 27 were arrested for burglary in the 4400 block of North Woodburn Street the morning of Feb. 12. A neighbor called police after seeing the men knock on the door and then pull their car into the driveway and start taking items out of the house. The men took items valued at more than $8,000 including a TV, computers and jewelry and drove away. Police stopped the men a short time later. In a related incident, the men broke a window in a home in the same block but did not gain entry.

20About 15 Suboxone pills were taken from an unsecured car in the 1700 block of East Newton Avenue the afternoon of Feb. 13.

21A purse and contents valued at $465 was taken from Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Ave., between 8 and 8:15 a.m. Feb. 17. The purse, with contents missing, was found later in a first floor boys' bathroom.

2210A firewood log was thrown through a front window damaging two panes of antique glass dating from 1893 in the 700 block of East Briarwood Place about 2 a.m. Feb. 19. Damage was more than $400.

23Pizza was smeared on a vehicle and three snow-filled pizza boxes were placed inside the vehicle as the owner played basketball at Whitefish Bay Middle School, 5000 N. Marlborough Drive between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 19.

24A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft from CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Road at 7 p.m. Feb. 20. The man fled but was caught a few blocks away.
