Stritch music director, acts and composes for 'Our Town'

Matt Zembrowski, liturgical music director of Cardinal Stritch University, will be performing in the classic American play "Our Town," produced by the Shorewood Players. In addition to playing the role of Simon Stimson in the production, Zembrowski also has written original music for the show, including new versions of the three hymns called for in the script. Zembrowski will be joined onstage by all three of his siblings - including his sister Rachel, a Stritch freshman, who will be playing the lead role of Emily Webb.

The show runs Jan.15-17 and 22-24.

Stritch faculty member named to police commission

Gary Keller, associate professor in the College of Business and Management at Cardinal Stritch University, was appointed to a 5-year term on the Shorewood Police Commission by the Shorewood Village Board.

Ronald McDonald House elects 2010 board, officers

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin ahs elected three new board members for 2010. They are Derek Gilliam, Carrie Megal and Anna Zeck. The 2010 officers are Bob Monday, chairman; Bob Dyble, vice-chairman; and Ann Petrie, treasurer.

• North Shore Bank named Andrew Wallach III of Mequon chief financial officer. He was previously senior vice president and is a 26-year veteran of the bank. Wallach currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Frank L. Weyenberg Public Library of Mequon-Thiensville and volunteers with the Ozaukee County Humane Society.

Staff Sgt. Jacob Lewis is the new recruiter for the United States Marine Corps for Germantown, Brown Deer, Homestead, Nicolet, Whitefish Bay, Dominican, Messmer, University School and Shorewood high schools. His office is located at 8333 W. Appleton Ave., suite 3008, Milwaukee.
