Ryan and Eryn (Corning) Hatchell of Menomonee Falls are the parents of Allison Eryn Hatchell, born Nov. 10, 2012. She was 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and 21 inches long. She joins brother Owen, 4. Grandparents are Mike and LeeAnn Corning of Milwaukee and Lisa and Joe Hatchell of Brown Deer. Great-grandparents are Violet Corning of Menomonee Falls, Shirley Simonis of Wabeno, and John and Doris Weyers of Appleton.


Maggie Nowakowski of Mequon will represent the United States as a world medalist in the 2013 World Irish Dance Championships in the U14 category in Boston, Mass., in March. Milwaukee's famed Trinity Irish Dancers advanced more world qualifiers than any other school, which puts them firmly on the road to winning another world title during its 30th anniversary season; the school has won an unprecedented 13 world titles for the United States.

The following Nicolet High School students were recognized for their outstanding efforts in November and received a personalized award from Principal Greg DePue: Isaiah Agara, junior, social studies; Sophie Eiseman, junior, career education; Rosalee "Rosie" Goodman, freshman, science; Jaime Kloehn, freshman, physical education; Michelle Kofman, junior, English; Jessica Luecke, senior, guidance; Elizabeth Meister, senior, library; Kierra Sanders, senior, performing arts; Sam Sinykin, junior, foreign language; and Chara Yu, senior, math.


Air Force Airman Ashley L. Crowley graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Crowley, the daughter of Robert Crowley and the granddaughter of Queen Freeman of Milwaukee, is a 2009 graduate of Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay.
