Dani Merar of Mequon has been initiated into Kappa Delta Pi, the international honor society in education at Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind.


Air Force Senior Airman Timothy J. Rosio has deployed overseas to a forward operating base to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, the anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners. Rosio is a weapons load crew member assigned to the 494th Aircraft maintenance Unit at Royal Air Force Base Lakenheath, United Kingdom. The senior airman has served in the military for four years. A 2006 graduate of Brown Deer High School, he is the son of Timothy D. Rosio of Milwaukee.


Jay Rothman of Whitefish Bay was named to the Wisconsin Law Journal's 2013 Leaders in the Law list. Honorees are recognized as the top legal professionals in Wisconsin, chosen for their expertise and demonstrated leadership in the field. Rothman, chairman and CEO of Foley & Lardner LLP and a partner in the firm's Milwaukee office, is a transactional attorney who has structured and negotiated numerous acquisitions in various industries in Wisconsin and nationally. In addition, he is frequently invited to speak on SEC compliance and corporate disclosure and governance matters. Rothman has achieved multiple annual recognitions as a top practitioner in the areas of corporate and mergers and acquisitions law in Milwaukee.

Robert Gegios of Whitefish Bay has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America 2013, in the practice areas of commercial litigation, antitrust law and antitrust litigation. He also has been chosen as a 2012 Wisconsin Super Lawyer and designated one of Milwaukee's highest-ranked attorneys by M: Milwaukee's Lifestyle Magazine.
