The Fox Point-Bayside School District is close to naming its new superintendent of schools, who will be chosen from two finalists.
Rachel Boechler, a California executive who once worked in the educational leadership program at Cardinal Stritch University, and Jeffrey Klaisner, superintendent of the Swallow School District in Waukesha County, are the two finalists for the post, Superintendent Gary Petersen said.
A third finalist dropped out of the running, he said.
School board members met in closed session last week to narrow their pick. "They're in the process where they've picked their finalist and will see if they can get a commitment, one way or another," Petersen said.
